OrthodoxGirl is a romance about a secular Jewish woman (Zoey) & an Ultra Orthodox man (Azel). Amazing projects such as Unorthodox & Disobedience explore the beauty of breaking free. OrthodoxGirl shows the other side of that desire. Zoey says she yearns for “something—someone—spiritual.” This performance of “Nothing Fails” by Madonna conveys the tone of OrthodoxGirl.
I have written the screenplay for OrthodoxGirl as a short film & currently seek investors &/or co-producers. The short can also serve as proof of concept for a feature or a series. For exposure I will submit the film to Jewish & other top tier film festivals.
